I've been hunting after these daggers for some time now but they've eluded me. Most people usually merch them so they're next to impossible to find from a player. I'm wondering where I should farm. I've seen Margonites, Tusked Howlers, and Ranger class bugs in NF all drop them. I don't know whether I should farm under HM or NM. Does HM increase the chance or golds or does NM have a better chance to drop blue skins? I'm sure HM has a higher chance to drop max damage items but if the daggers are purple or gold all the time I'd rather go back to farming NM.

Any tips suggestions etc are welcome.

(Please no flaming about the type of item I'm farming for. I know it's different but hat's exactly why I want them. And them being Blue/Common skinned insc Max Steel daggers, not Purple/Gold rarity.)

although the skin is usually adributed to the blue/common rarity, the skin you are looking for can rarely be found on golds and purples.
just keep looking, i'll look out for some also

try spider farming outside Rihlon Refuge.. I tend to get a pair to drop in NM from time to time.

Im not sure what color of those you are looking for but I have a gold pair q9 insc that just dropped for me today in the Gate of Pain Mission HM

Really... i didnt know this. Its probably rarer on the purple/gold skin then on the blue skin though... but yeah just keep looking.

I'd vote to farm in normal mode, because in HM the drops are usually rarer which means more golds & purps, less blues and whites

Found a few non max set under HM 7-16 R9-10 while I was out farming the rangers outside the Refuge.

Those aren't likely the blue skin that I'm after. The image is broken so i'm not about to bid 20k on ugly gold steel daggers.

They all have set stats, so no inscriptions, but you can choose any skin with any mod, and they're free ^^

He's most likely, looking for blue steel daggers because there is a different skin for each color.

For those of us that never followed the link, we might not have known. I would have been looking simply for "Steel Daggers" instead of "Lesser Steal Daggers'

I clearly stated blue steel daggers. There's no such thing as lesser steel daggers in PvE. The skin varies by the rarity.

Yeah. I've been searching as well. Closest was a req 9 7-15 blue so far. Found a req 8 7-16 today but no spot for Insc.

You could use tournament RP's for a set, right? Might want to give that a go.
